Really creative concept! The limited way in which you move makes clearing a simple room feel really satisfying.
Edit: Thank you for fixing the bug!

Thank you very much for reporting!
I've found the bug and it seemed like the only in that room, the blood particles made the boss crash after some time.
I've updated the game to fix this :)
Once I got the banana on top of the pink above ground tunnel system I tried to go back and collect the cherry but it was too high. I like the atmosphere though.
UPDATE: I replayed the game, cherry stopped being a cunt and I was able to play the rest of the game, it was nice (liked the little ending graphic) Really good music choice, helps keep the player calm when they're trying to collect a fruit. Overall was good, wish more games had this style.
You can get it when it drops down on the bounce.
This game has a really unique and fun gimmick, being the dice. However, there are too many things that keep it from being great. One thing that feels incomplete is how the dice rolls, it's super inconsistent and awkward to control. It is almost never the same speed as you, it's either faster or slower than you. It is also affected by friction so even if you do get a good speed you will likely overshoot and die. Ironically enough it feels like a dice roll you have to get lucky in which is the very thing you wanted to avoid. Though I didn't find issues with the jumping and dashing mechanics of the dice, they were really fun actually.
Another thing that feels incomplete is the level design. The difficulty of the game is super inconsistent. Sometimes it's a nightmare hellfuck and other times it's easier than you'd expect. I watched the video you linked, and the procrastination really shows design wise. You should have took the full 48 hours of time to design the game, though you have a life out of designing games so I'm not gonna act like that's your fault. What broke the deal for me was the final screen. It puts a magnifying glass onto the flaws the game has. The pink bouncy cars don't work consistently, the rolling complaint I mentioned earlier was the most prevalent here. (Along with the spike lined tunnel with the overhang, that part is the only part I'm comfortable calling complete bullshit). The level of precision asked of the player on that screen was way too much out of reason. All that for a squirrel to spill and eat your coveted beans.
I don't know why I wrote a whole ass essay of a review. (I never do that here or elsewhere on the internet ever) but for some reason this game prompted me to write this much. I hope you reading this (if you got this far) doesn't ruin your day or discourage you from continuing to make games/make your doubt yourself. I just want you to know what you can improve on and not be left in the dark. If I had to say why I wrote all this is not because this game is bad, but a good game that is held back.
EDIT: I just watched your newest video. You seem to already be aware of the games flaws so sorry if reading this was repetitive. I'm glad you're already making strides to improve the game, as well as shooting for a steam release, that is ambition. I hope you enjoy your break and in the future make a great game!
Thank you so much for your review. Iβve been told that the dice is wacky and I donβt know what to do about it. Also that last room is supposed to be hell. I composed a whole song for it lol. This is a demo to see if ppl like my game, but the full game will be on steam and not feature the final challenge in level 3 it will be its own optional side level. I figured the demo was too easy so I wanted to make it hard at the last bit for veteran platformers. The spike tunnel on the room is consistent but requires master of the controls. But I am not expecting the average player to beat it. Also I switched between hard and easy levels throughout in attempt to give the player a break or at least that was my intention
EDIT: I figured out how to fix the dice, I will experiment then update the game if fixed!
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wowza
Really good, hope this gets seen more
Thanks for the review, and for trying it out! Hoping for the same, heheh.
Error
The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing:
Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)
SharedArrayBuffer - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)
Yes I know, If you want the game is working on itch.io : https://weiuwio.itch.io/wobus
I will see if I find a way to make it work on NewGrounds.
Really interesting concept. Only problem I've encountered is sometimes the view model for the hand and disk gets really buggy, nothing intrusive gameplay wise though.
Edit: This update is amazing!!
Good catch! I was able to recreate the bug. I'll fix it in an update next week.
Made my friend laugh with this
That's good to hear!
Unfinished, if it is I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing
Yes, it is unfinished. I uploaded it to use Newgrounds.io API.
